These terms govern the use of Scode Automation, provided by Scode: a service that answers a business's customers in a website chat widget and in messaging channels, and that publishes to and reports on the business's own accounts. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Who may use the service
The service is for businesses and the people acting for them. You must be able to enter a contract, and the person who creates the account must be authorised to act for the business. The service is not directed at children.
Your account and team
You are responsible for your sign-in details, for the team members you invite and for what happens in your account. Roles limit what each member can do, and choosing them is your decision. Tell us at once if you believe an account has been compromised.
Your content
The files, business information, questions and answers, media and conversations you add or produce in your account remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store this content, make it searchable, send the relevant parts to the AI providers listed in the privacy policy, and publish what you ask us to publish.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload or publish through the service, including images and video, and that publishing it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
AI replies
The assistant writes its replies from the knowledge you provide, and it can still be wrong, incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for what your assistant tells your customers, and for reviewing anything that matters: prices, availability, any medical, legal or financial statement, and any commitment made in your name. The service is not a substitute for professional advice, and we do not guarantee that a reply is accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
Platforms you connect
When you connect WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn or Telegram, you also agree to that platform's own terms and policies, and you remain responsible for following them. Platforms may change, restrict or withdraw their interfaces at any time, and what a platform refuses, delays or removes is outside our control.
You allow us to act on your connected accounts only as the service does: publishing what you schedule, reading and answering comments where you turn that on, and reading the statistics you ask to see. We never post on your accounts except on your instruction.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, or message people who have asked to stop receiving them.
- Impersonate another person or business, or mislead customers about who is answering them.
- Publish unlawful, misleading, hateful or infringing content.
- Collect or process personal data without a lawful basis.
- Probe, overload or get around the service's limits or protections.
- Resell the service or expose it to others, except as a support channel for your own customers.
Messaging platforms apply their own rules on top of these terms; breaking them can cost you the channel itself, not only your account with us.
Subscription and AI credit
- The services subscription is monthly and charged in advance for the period shown when you subscribe. Prices are in Iraqi dinars, as on the pricing section.
- AI credit is topped up once, separately from the subscription, and never expires. The assistant replies from it, and each conversation uses credit. When the credit runs out, the assistant stops replying, and customers' messages stay in the Inbox for your team to answer.
- If the subscription is not renewed, the account is suspended and your data is kept.
- Amounts paid are not refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- We may change prices with notice, effective from the next period.
Service availability
We aim to keep the service running and to fail safely when one of its parts does not, for example by handing a conversation to a person instead of inventing an answer. We do not promise uninterrupted service: maintenance and third-party or network failures will happen. The service is provided as is, without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending your account
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account if the subscription is not renewed, if these terms are broken, or where continuing would expose us or a platform to legal risk. Where it is reasonable, we tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. After an account ends, we delete its data or remove what identifies people as the privacy policy describes, except what the law or accounting requires us to keep.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, business or data, or for indirect loss, and our total liability in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Any material change appears in the last updated date above, and we tell business owners directly where appropriate. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq, and the courts of Baghdad have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
