What it does
Someone with an appointment checks in with their booking number, and a walk-in is added with one tap.
One button advances the queue, with “No-show” and “Requeue” to the back of the queue with a new number and a written reason.
A link you open on the waiting-room TV. It refreshes every 10 seconds and shows “Now” and the next five, by first name and first initial only.
The screen shows how far behind today is, instead of promises that do not come true.
A customer who checked in with their booking asks the assistant and learns their position. It gives no estimate of the remaining time before 10 completed visits for the booked service.
A separate queue for each staff member or chair, and the screen rotates between them every 8 seconds.
